Social and emotional learning (SEL) helps students develop the self-awareness and interpersonal skills needed to thrive not only in school but in the workplace as well. SEL focuses on five core competencies that include self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

THE WORRY SCALE

“Who here has ever been scared? We all have certain things that scare us, and that’s OK. And there are a lot of things going on in the world today and sometimes those things make us worry to the point of being afraid, and that is called fear.

MY SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING JOURNAL

Many students already use a journal in class to develop their writing skills, but what if we helped them express their feelings in a space that’s their own with a Social Emotional Learning Journal?  Journaling is a terrific way to express emotions in a safe way with this social-emotional learning journal.
